Understand then why the redemption of the Jewish Nation has to occur in Nissan: for that’s when Kindness flows, as I’d written. As such, it will be calm and tranquil.
That’s why the verse (previously cited) says, “Behold, winter has passed” (Song of Songs 2:11), since that refers to the aforementioned constraining of the light; and it’s said “the rain is over and gone” (Ibid.) because winter had passed and rain would no longer be needed.
