22.
But let me explain this to you well so that you’ll understand a very great mystery.
Many souls have been oppressed since antiquity at the ends of these hills. They haven’t been able to leave to this very day because the (forces of) impurity stubbornly refuse to set them free. But they’ll escape before we’re redeemed. How will they escape then if they couldn’t get out until now (you ask)? With the help of the upsurge of light that will shine upon them in the course of the P’kidah.
For the tzaddik will leap over all the mountains and hills those souls are found in then. And the souls will derive light from him as well as a very great capacity that will allow them to leave upon his arrival there. But the tzaddik won’t stay very long upon those mountains and hills; he’ll have to leave before the husk senses (his presence there).
Know however that most of those souls will be the Moshiach’s contemporaries (and you already know why contemporaries are referred to as “souls”). Other very great souls will also leave then and onwards when they're due to, in order to be amended and repaired, and also so the world can bask in great and mighty light.
